Over 100 salt and peppershakers will debut at Moynihan Gallery in downtown, Holland during the 14th annual Gallery Walk Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd. To add to the festivities on Friday, the Holland Junior Welfare League will be shaking up Shirley Temple Cocktails to raise money for the League. The Shirley Temple Cocktails will be served free of charge from 6-8pm Friday night. 5% of all gallery sales will be donated to the Holland Junior Welfare league. |

We have been seeking unusual salt and peppershakers to help this local cause. Jane Hillman, one of the featured artists has been making ceramic functional ware for over 30 years. This will be the last opportunity to get her shakers, as she will be retiring in November. Her animal shape shakers flaunt rabbits, cardinals, robins, bluebirds, cats and dogs just to name a few. Artist Kay Berry shaker's are painted with bright colored polka dots. |
